Air Europa continues flights to Marrakech


Rabat – Spanish airline Air Europa has announced that it will resume his flights to Marrakech from April 6th.

The route will operate twice a week and connect Madrid-Barajas Airport and Marrakech.

The airline offers over 20,000 seats on this route with a Boeing 737 fleet.

Overall, Air Europe, North Africa, plans to assign a total of over 40,000 places, including 20,000 for the Madrid Marakech route this year.

The move is expected to contribute to the Moroccian tourism industry, since the country is committed to attracting tourists from all over the world.

The North African country attracted 17.4 million tourists last year and exceeded the destination originally defined for 2026.

Morocco aims to attract 26 million tourists by 2030.

In February, the tourist revenue in Morocco reached 15.75 billion or 1.6 billion US dollars, which contradicted the growth of 2.8% compared to the same period in the previous year.

Almost 2.7 million tourists visited Morocco at the end of February.

The country should welcome millions of tourists because it is preparing to organize prestigious events in the coming years.

Morocco is organizing the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) later this year, and this is mobilized as an onmt called tourist office to promote the North African country as a first -class goal.
