AGR Africa Bond Index: Progress in S2-2024


AGR Africa Bond Index (AGR ABI), which in Africa follows the sovereign debt in Africa to increase 4.1 %and reach 85.6 points in July at the end of the second half of 2024 2024 according to Attijari Global Research (AGR).

The index mainly consists of five countries: Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, South Africa and Morocco, each corresponding to around 20 % of the total capitalization. The bonds that represent B and B- 60 % of the index, while 66 % of the deposits have a ripe of more than five years.
