The Mohammed VI Foundation of Sciences and Health (FM6SS) and Laboratories Pharma 5 ended on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Casablanca, a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to bundle their resources and combine their efforts in their respective structures and access to the advantages of the Moroccan citizens improve.
This strategic partnership revolves around three axes, of which the first promotes national health research by summarizing the capacities of the two actors in relation to basic and applied research, clinical and public health studies. The partnership also aims to strengthen the national pharmaceutical production capacities thanks to the development of generic, biosimilan and innovative medication as well as by promoting the activity of the Mohammed VI Center for Bioequivalence of the FM6S. The two parties will also work together to improve the characterization and improvement of healthy biora resources.
This agreement also enables the FM6S and Laboratories Pharma 5 teams involved in this partnership to work together in order to set up research projects on topics of interest in the health system such as chronic diseases, tuberculosis and antibiotics. In these areas, joint projects are carried out in accordance with the applicable laws in relation to the evaluation of the use of healthy organic sources, in particular therapeutic cannabis.
