A French-Palestinian chef from Bethlehem spoke to FRANCE 24 about how his love of cooking has helped him overcome the region’s current problems. Fadi Kattan’s book Bethlehem is a love letter to his hometown and is intended to evoke the colors and smells of Bethlehem’s market and spice shops. The book was named one of the cookbooks of the year by the Los Angeles Times. Kattan was there at Perspective.
