At least 22 people were killed and 64 injured in Thailand On Wednesday, a construction crane fell onto a passenger train, officials said.
According to the provincial public relations department, the crane struck a moving train in Nakhon Ratchasima province as it was traveling from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani, causing the train to derail and catch fire.
The department announced this in a Facebook post the fire The train was under control and officers were searching for people who were believed to be trapped in the train.

“Nineteen bodies were recovered, but there are still some in the carriages that cannot be removed yet because the crane started moving, so the team withdrew fearing danger,” police Colonel Thatchapon Chinnawong said, according to Reuters.
Chinnawong added that those killed were in two of the three carriages hit by the crane.
