The Shade Room caught Travis Hunter on a livestream where he clapped right back at “haters” for commenting on his relationship with Leanna Lenee. The Colorado Buffaloes football player made it clear that he is tired of people constantly jumping around on the internet talking about him and Leanna.

“They want me to be unhappy. They don’t want me to have a relationship. I’m not going to lie, the comments and the people… and the hate I get, it’s (tiring). It’s definitely tiring. There’s no way I’m going to be myself for a minute,” Travis said during the stream.

Calling out the incessant chatter, he said that people always find something new to complain about when it comes to his relationship.

“We are just one topic at the moment. Why should I break up with my girl because the internet wants me to break up with my girl? Nobody knows me or her personally. Brother, just leave us alone, brother. I’ve been with my girlfriend for five years, this year suddenly you all want to say something,” he added.

Late Sunday (December 23), The Shade Room announced that Travis had apparently deactivated his Instagram account. It is unclear whether the internet disruption is temporary or permanent. Hunter logged out amid a throwback video that appears to show a woman wearing the same outfit as his now-fiancée twerking on a man at a party. It is unclear when this minor setback occurred.

Travis defends Leanna after online criticism

Travis’ latest comments come after Bow Wow tried to test him about Leanna. Bow Wow Didn’t hold back and questioned Leanna’s intentions after social media caught her allegedly dropping a money-mouth-hand-heart-eye emoji under Anthony Edwards’ Instagram picture.

This isn’t the first time Travis has addressed the backlash directed at him and Leanna. Immediately after his Heisman Trophy win, Leanna was blasted online about how she acted at the ceremony and during Travis’ meet-and-greet, where she didn’t look particularly happy. However, Travis shut down all the chatter on a livestream and made it clear that he knows who his girls are. Leanna Lenee also responded to the criticism in several videos.

“Find something else to talk about. I’m talking about my girl. Go find a girl, go find life. Don’t worry about what I’m up to, I know what I’ve got! I know my girl. My girl has been with me for five years, you just started dating me. Come on, man, you’re doing something different with your whole life,” Travis said.
