  • The connection between self-criticism, type A tendencies and chronic illness

  • Rachel’s “Knot” exercise for emotional relaxation and symptom relief

  • Real life client transformations – from chronic pain to deep emotional healing

  • Why physical healing alone is not enough without emotional integration

This is for everyone who’s ever said, “I’ve tried everything” and still hasn’t found the answers: Rachel’s perspective could change the way you think about your health forever.

196: Unlocking Emotional and Physical Healing through Body Awareness with Rachel Reimer

Find out more about it here Rachel and their background:

Rachel Reimer believes that the body can develop physical symptoms (acute or chronic) when there is unresolved emotional stress. Instead of rationalizing that the emotional stressor is “not that bad,” Rachel has found that sometimes talking about the stress can help the body feel/function better. During a session, Rachel’s goal is to thoroughly understand your physical problem, identify what specific emotional stress she believes may be related to the physical problem (if any), and then help you process the unresolved emotional stress. with the hope that the physical body begins to function and feel better.
