Bought ditch in the shop and DIY with these delicious carrots and dried fruit energy rods. Keep them in the refrigerator to get a sweet snack without sophisticated sugar and a healthy dose of fiber.
This is a great snack if you want to refuel a long hike or another persistent physical activity. The carbohydrates offer energy immediately, while the fat gives them energy throughout the day. This is also helpful if you search for a filling snack in the middle of the day without sugar height and bring many snack rods to crash.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (60 g) oat fire
- 1/2 cup (54 g) almonds
- 1/2 cup (60 g) walnut pieces
- 3/4 cup (83 g) carrots, grated and dry with paper towels

- 1/2 cup (30 g) roasted unsweetened dried coconut chips
- 1/4 cup (40 g) dried pineapple pieces
- 2 teaspoons of orange peel
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C to 350 ° F. Place the oats, almonds and walnuts on a cut baking sheet and bake them slightly roasted for 10 minutes. Put aside and let the mixture cool.
Place the carrots, dates, coconut, dried pineapple, orange peel, cinnamon, vanilla and salt in a food processor and in the pulse until the mixture is well chopped and forms a ball, about 30 1 second pulse. Add the oat and the nut mixture and process it to scrape off the sides of the bowl once or twice until the nuts are finely ground for 2 minutes.
Place a 5 times 9-inch loib pan with plastic film. Press the date mix into the pan evenly. Cover and cool until the mixture is about 2 hours of touch. Cut in 8 bar and wrap individually in plastic film. Store the bars in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
