Rabat – The State Council of Moroccos has approved a decree in which the regulatory framework for the Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development (AMDL) is updated and the supervision of the agency corresponds to the current ministerial structure of the country.
The change, presented by the Minister of Transport and logistics Abdessamad Kayouh was issued by Deket No. 2.25.235. It revised Article 2 of Decree No. 2.12.175 of May 30, 2012, which had previously transferred the AMDL to the authority of the Minister of Equity and the Transport.
According to the updated regulation, the agency now falls under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport and the Logistics. At a press conference after the council meeting, the government spokesman Mustapha Baitas said that the adaptation posted the AMDL under the relevant administrative authority. He added that this change reflects the developing institutional framework and priorities in the transport and logistics sector.
AMDL, founded in accordance with the law 59.09, plays a strategic role in the execution of the national logistics strategy in Morocco and the strengthening of the country’s position in global supply chains.
The regulatory update is expected to increase coordination between the agency’s mission and its administrative supervision and contribute to a more efficient and reactionable logistics ecosystem.

In the same session, the government council also approved the draft of the draft No. 2.25.339, whereby Decree No. 2.99.649 of October 6, 1999 in relation to the protection and compensation of certain categories of the Ministry of Health, which was subject to professional risks, with regard to the protection and compensation of certain categories of the Ministry of Health.
The new decree introduced by Health Minister Tehhraoui is part of the implementation of the high royal guidelines that aim to revise the national health system and improve its attractiveness, in particular by evaluating human resources within the sector.
The initiative corresponds to the government program 2021-2026, which emphasizes the development of the national human capital. It also builds on the agreement signed on July 23, 2024 between the Ministry of Health and Representative Unions in this sector.
The updated provisions should offer relatives of the health professions that are exposed to professional dangers, better protection and fair compensation.
