The high planning commission (HCP) will carry out two national surveys in 2025: one in relation to the use of time and the other in the family.
These surveys are part of a number of initiatives that aim to deepen the analysis of economic, social and cultural obstacles in connection with gender -specific inequalities. In the survey at the time of time, the distribution of work between men and women as well as restrictions is analyzed, which influence the time management between guts and unpaid activities.
With regard to the family survey, it will focus on the development of family structures, gender dynamics in houses and the nursing economy and at the same time measure the effects of social changes on roles and family responsibilities.
In addition, the HCP will also carry out a study on gender in municipal and provincial levels, whereby data from the 2014 and 2024 census is used. This study will create a detailed map of the differences between men and women in terms of education, health, access to basic services, but also economic participation and at the same time observe the development of these indicators over time.
In addition, the results of this research will represent an important database that is shared with researchers, think tanks and experts to inform public and private decisions about the strategies to promote gender equality.
