The General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) and the World Bank (BM) on Monday in Rabat on the most advanced audit practices during a seminar with facial face after bringing together the high -ranking officials of the two institutions as well as a committee of international experts and Moroccan financial inspectors.

This activity, whose start was led by Mohamed Manchoud, the Inspector General for Finance and Ahmadou Moustapha Ndiaye, the director of BM for Maghreb and Malta.

This partnership, which was initiated as part of the IGF 2023-2026 strategic action plan, is part of a dynamic of the deep transformation of the institution, which is celebrating its 65 ° C anniversary this year, more than six decades of existence in the service of the good government of public finances, indicates the ministry of the economy and financing. Note that the technical support of the BM is based on two main axes that meet the current and future challenges of internal public examination. This is the update of IGF standards and practices according to the latest international standards, especially Issai (International Standards of Supreme Institutions). With this update you can update the instructions and examination manuals of the IGF. At the same time, homologous institutions are identified abroad in order to promote the exchange of good practices and collaborative projects and thus strengthen the integration of international internal public exams.

The other axis refers to the integration of advanced technologies, in particular AI, to modernize audit processes and to improve the efficiency of missions. This axis aims to use the potential of AI, to change traditional practices and to meet the growing demands on transparency and performance. In this area, a team of financial and expert inspectors of World Bank Development of innovative technological solutions to strengthen the efficiency and precision of examination missions.

The IGF remains the external reference reduction in Morocco for projects that are financed by international donors. Morocco is also the first country in the world in which the result instrument for results (PPR) experiment (PPR), an important innovation in the field of project financing.
