The French Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, arrives this Sunday, March 9th, for a express visit of twenty -four hours. In Rabat, the Siegel goalkeeper will meet his Moroccan counterpart Abdellatif Ouahbi, with which “the exchange are regular,” said the entourage of the French minister cited by Lemonde.
In particular, Darminin has to cause the legal and technical cooperation between Rabat and Paris. Among the topics to be discussed, the delivery of two alleged accomplices from drug dealers Mohamed Amra, was arrested in Marrakech on February 23.
This visit to Morocco is the second in less than a year for Gérald Darmanin. Then he made his trip to Rabat in April 2024 to record the security partnership before the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
During this visit, Darmanin should be exchanged with Mohammed Abdennabaoui, the deputy president of the Superior Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ), as well as Moulay Hassan Daki, Attorney General of the King near the court of directorate.
