The members of the Council of the Tanger-Touan-Al Hceima region approved during the ordinary March session on Monday in Tanger, the program contract between the state, the region and the other stakeholders, for a global household cover of 5.84 billion, comp. This printing contract aims to achieve the goals of the regional development program (PDR 2022-2027), in particular the continuation of efforts to improve the economic competitiveness of the region, the improvement of space justice and management of the rural world.
A total of 24 projects are carried out in 16 areas 4, which are divided into 4 strategic axes. In detail, 44 projects in the areas of agriculture, trade, craft, infrastructure, transport and logistics, tourism and industry are carried out for a household envelope of more than 3.66 billion DH. These projects relate to “global economic development and creation of prosperity”.
In addition, the 2nd axis provides for 15 structuring projects in the areas of sports, health, urban planning, social development, education and vocational training for a total envelope of 1.34 billion DH in terms of “space justice and social integration”.
In addition, there are 10 projects “cultural influence and the evaluation of the inheritance” (126.13 million DH), while 15 projects in the energy sectors, environment, fishing and water are planned as part of the last axis in relation to “sustainable, integrated and integrative development” (707.88 million DH).
Around 19 public departments will help finance the various projects up to 2.6 billion DH, while the regional council of the Tanger-Teuan-Al HceMA will mobilize 2.26 billion DH. Provincial councilors and local communities in which these projects are accommodated will inject approximately 284 million DH, while the rest of the public institutions will contribute to 653 million DH and the Royal Maroccan Football Federation will mobilize 50 million dH.
