It is a good day to be a Whoovian. The trailer for the second season of “Doctor Who” (or season 15, if you still count this as part of the revival of 2005 “Nuwho”), and it promises a lot of excitement, adventure and some very sharp outfits that the doctor can try.
The trailer also demonstrates the latest companion, played by Varada Sethu from “Andor”. Although Sethus is reported to Belinda Chandra this season, she introduces herself as a “nurse”. It seems to be her cheeky way of making fun of the vague, somewhat self -quality name of the doctor, but it also indicates what your job is before she joins the Tardis.
It seems that Sethu won’t play Mundy, The soldier she played in “Boom” last season. In view of the short writer of the trailer to Mundy, however, it seems as if the two characters are definitely connected. The trailer also promises the return of the former companion Ruby (Millie Gibson) and Mrs. Flood (Anita Dobson), Ruby’s mysterious neighbor. There will also be skeletal dinosaurs, a huge alien spider and a lot of breakdowns at the end of the world. In other words, “Doctor Who” is back!
