FEZ: 53 million DH for the YouCode School

It is official. The city of Fez will have a YouCode school. The facility opened in September 2025 requires 53 million DH, which are financed by the delegated ministry, which is responsible for the digital transition and reform of the administration and the regional council Fès-Meknes.

The agreement for this project was made on Friday, February 28, 2025, by the delegates of the digital transition and the Reformation of the Administration, the Wali des Fès-Meknès, the President of the Regional Council, the President of the CCI and the President of the Association Leet Initiative.

“As part of our agreement, the” Youcode Fez “school offers a two-year training program in the areas of information and digital technology,” said Amal El Fallah Segthrouchni. And the minister -delegate, which is responsible for the digital transition and reform of the administration: “Every promotion welcomes 80 learners (18 to 35 years old), which contributes to strengthening the job offer in the digital sector in the region and improving the ability of young people into the new technologies.” However, this number of beneficiaries is insignificant if we know that “our region has 230,000 students”, Mouaâd Jamaï, Wali states in the region, demands “the investment and extends this second opportunity, which specializes in programming and coding, to a larger number of learners”.
