After an increase of 2.4% in the previous year, national power generation rose by 3% in the previous year, according to the management for studies and financial forecasts (Depf).
This increase is due to the increase in the production of renewable energies (+25.2%) as well as 1.5% of the private production and that of the national office for electricity and drinking water (onee).
The energy volume called NET believed 3.9%, while imported energy rose by 25.3%.
However, electricity exports fell by 22.9%. The electricity consumption had 1.9%at the end of 2024, which was due to high demand in very high, high and medium voltage (+6.8%), while energy consumption with low volt energy decreased by 12%.
