The House of Representatives unanimously passed 73.24 changes in Article 74 and 75 of the law in relation to the judicial organization on Wednesday. This reform aims to strengthen the accessibility of the citizens into specialized courts.
The Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi emphasized that this law opened the opportunity to appeal the decisions of the first instance’s trade and administrative courts before the special sections of the Court of Appeal. A progress that enables legal disputes to be avoided to travel to distant courts until the generalization of specialized jurisdiction.
By expanding the territorial competence of the specialized sections, this reform optimizes the exploitation of existing judicial infrastructure and mobilizes effective human and logistical resources.
This initiative is part of a broader dynamic of modernization of the judiciary in Morocco to ensure fair access to the courts and to strengthen the efficiency of the judicial system.
