Princess Love talks about her previous romance with Floyd Mayweather and tell why they went their separate ways. Additionally, Love opens up about why she’s officially breaking up with Ray J.

Princess Love opens up about her past romance with Floyd Mayweather

On Tuesday, January 21st, Carlos King released an exclusive interview with Love via YouTube. About 14 minutes into the session, Love reflected on her romance with Mayweather about entering the entertainment industry.

Furthermore, she explained that their relationship started platonic but eventually developed into a romance.

“The Floyd I knew was the Floyd who didn’t have access to all of these crazy things – I met Floyd when he was at his most vulnerable, for example,” Love explained. “…That’s the Floyd I fell in love with, but when he got out (of prison) I met the real Floyd.”

At the time, Love stated that the friendship between her and Mayweather was solid and that he had provided for her financially in more ways than anyone had ever done.

“He did a lot for me,” she said. “More than anyone has ever done…he bought me a brand new car, he bought me an apartment…”

Still, Love noted that many women had access to Mayweather or were in his entourage, Love said. Eventually, Love became uncomfortable, “and that’s when the truth came out.”

“‘I can have as many women as I can afford,'” Love recalled Mayweather telling her. “And he didn’t lie about it, so I couldn’t do anything but respect it.”

Ultimately, Love explained that she wanted to start a family at this point in her life. However, Mayweather didn’t want to settle that way. Eventually she became dissatisfied with her romance and around the same time she met Ray J, who was apparently on the same page as her.

Still, Love explained that despite their breakup, Mayweather is “one of the best people” she’s ever met.

As The shadow room As previously reported, Love announced that she and Ray J had made the decision to divorce for the fourth time in February 2024 She reportedly responded to her submission requesting that they share custody and custody of their two children.

Then, earlier this month, Ray announced that he and Love are now legally separated. Additionally, he shared that she “sometimes” wants to draw the line. However, he would like to stay married, per The shadow room.

Speaking to King, Love explained why she has moved on from her romance with Ray and is sticking to her divorce vows.

“I feel like this time is different than other times because this time I didn’t do it out of anger,” she said. “…I was at a point in my life where I thought, ‘All these guys, they’re all lying (so I might as well be with my kids’ father.’) But I’m like, no, I didn’t deserve that. I deserve to be happy, and if I can be happy on my own, then so be it.”

Ultimately, Love explained that she and Ray “live two completely different lifestyles” and compared their relationship to “roommates” or an open marriage.
