Xbox hosts it Developer directly Introduce yourself today and you can watch live on YouTube, Twitch, or via our handy embed below.
The stream begins at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and is expected to include updates from the developers South of midnight, Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 And Doom: The Dark Ages. Xbox also promises to “visit a surprise location to see another studio’s brand new game.” Windows Central Reports The mysterious, unannounced game is “a new entry in an iconic Japanese IP that has decades of history,” which certainly sounds intriguing. At least the remaining games should appear in 2025.
Xbox spent most of 2024 adjusting its strategy around game releases, delaying some titles until this year and brings with it some formerly exclusive games for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The company seems to prefer timed exclusives rather than hoarding everything for Xbox and PC, so the mission of this Developer Direct is a little different this time. Aside from letting developers sell their games, the real test of the show is whether it can get you excited about games that come out on Xbox first, and not just games that come out on Xbox at all.
