The new Apple AirPods Max just dropped to a record low price

Apple’s AirPods Max are some of the best headphones money can buy – but they’re also some of the most expensive, usually costing half a grand. An updated AirPods Max model was published in Septemberwhereby the older AirPods Max Significantly dropping in price, currently discounted to $150. But that newer version is now also reduced, except for $449.99 (originally $549.99). This is a record low price, they say Price tracking tools. If you’re coming from the older AirPods Max, note that there are a few minor issues significant differences.
When the AirPods Max launched in 2020, there wasn’t as much competition for headphones that could achieve this active noise cancellation (ANC), environmental awareness and delivery capabilities also first-class audio quality. Nowadays there is tough competition in all of these categories, especially at this price. However, purchasing AirPods Max is a opinion. Even if they don’t have the Apple logo, you pay a high price for recognition. If that’s what you’re looking for, these headphones are for you.
When it comes to features, the AirPods Max aren’t overloaded – but the few they do have are of very good quality, which fits the hallmark of Apple’s minimalist style. They are among the best ANC headphones you can buy (they don’t give you that weird pressure feeling when you turn them on), have very good ambient awareness to hear your surroundings well, have adaptive EQ and spatial audio, that adjusts the environment Audio is automatically routed to you and your surroundings, and Siri has the speakerphone feature PCMag’s “excellent” review.
Cons include that they are heavier than regular headphones at 13.6 ounces. This is due to the decision to use metal for the earpieces. You also can’t manually adjust the EQ to your liking. So if you don’t like the sound signature, you’re out of luck. Finally, the included smart case is, well, ugly and doesn’t protect the mesh that rests on your head (a delicate part of the headphones). You’ll also need this smart case to put your headphones into “sleep mode” so your 20-hour battery doesn’t run out.
