Financial exchanges in Morocco: Ora Technologies has launched ORA Cash
Moroccan startup Ora Technologies has launched ORA Cash, the country’s first social mobile wallet that aims to revolutionize financial exchanges. Developed by Moroccans for Moroccans, this application combines advanced financial services and social features, enabling instant money transfers, messaging and QR code payments.
ORA Cash is characterized by its user-friendliness: registration only takes a minute and users can transfer money, pay bills and withdraw money for free in more than 5,000 branches. By partnering with M2T, the app offers robust financial services and reduced fees for merchants, encouraging the shift to digital payments.
Developed entirely by local talent, ORA Cash aims to be accessible to everyone, including those with inadequate bank accounts. The aim is to become a major player in digital payments in Morocco, reaching hundreds of thousands of users, especially young people aged 18 to 40, and contributing to the country’s digital transformation.
