The Kimmel interview comes after Cher revealed the identity of the music producer who pressured her into sex when she was 15 and later pulled a gun on her.
In her book, she detailed the “strange” encounter she had in the early 1960s with the late Phil Spector, whom she had met through her then-boyfriend Antonino LoTempio.
“To many he may have been a demigod, but he acted strangely and I didn’t like the way he stared at me,” she wrote of the music producer in her memoir, before recounting the shocking moment he asked her to be with him to sleep.
“‘Voulez-vous coucher avec me?’ he said with a grin and asked me to sleep with him,” Cher wrote. She then wrote her reply and told him that she would have sex with him for money.
“Without breaking a sweat, I took a look back and replied, ‘Oui, pour l’argent,'” she shared.
Cher added in her book: “You could have knocked him over with a feather. He didn’t think I would understand the question, let alone have an answer.”
