Kody asks Robyn to “accept” him as a monogamist.
The January 5 episode of Sister Wives starts with Kody And Robyn Brown Embark on an exciting (and slightly chaotic) 4WD date at Coyote Pass. The pair race around the property like teenagers Robyn’s Leadfoot overwhelms her.
She hits a bump, flies through the air, and crashes into the dirt with a dramatic thud. Kody storms to her side like a knight in shining armor and desperately asks, “Are you okay?” Is something broken?” RobynShe’s dazed and shaken and thinks she might have whiplash, but manages to fight it off Kodys help. Even though she sees stars, she shakes herself off and declares that she is fine, far too fine Kodys Relief.
Kody I can’t help but annoy her. “You’re a pretty crazy driver,” he says, grinning. But the near-death experience doesn’t stop him from confessing his undying love. Up on the property, Kody told Robyn how much he loves her and drops a bombshell: “Will you accept me as a monogamist?”
Robynvisibly emotional, takes a moment to respond. “I will always stay with you,” she promises tearfully. However, she admits: “I’m just having an identity crisis.”
Robyn admits that the collapse of her multifamily family was heartbreaking. She imagined growing old with her sister wives and their children, but now that dream is shattered. “Yes, I will always stay with him and I love him” Robyn repeats before adding, “This is not what I wanted for my life.”
KodyHowever, he seems ready to move forward without looking back. “Whatever I did in those marriages is over,” he says Robyn. He reveals that he is no longer interested in improving his relationships Meri or Janelle. “I’m not going to fix it Meri“, he explains. “I’m not going to try to make things right with Janelle anymore. She’s done with me.”
Robyn looks shocked. “She told you she was ready?” she asks. When Kody confirms it, Robyn asks him again, “Do you like using those words?” Kody doubled: “Yes.”

Kody’s college confession
In a surprising twist Kody decides to talk about a romantic affair from his pre-polygamy days. “Do you want to know the craziest thing? “I had a lover in college and it was a little date.” Kody reveals it to the cameras. “I was a naughty boy because of my faith. I had a relationship in college where I lost my virginity.”
He describes the experience as “heartbreaking” and explains that in the church where he grew up, purity was everything. “It was devastating, but no one knew except Meri And Robyn“, he adds. “I don’t think I’ve ever been intimate enough Christine And Janelle to tell them.”
Kody humiliates Meri again
Meanwhile over there Meri Browns B&B in Utah, she’s dealing with another humiliating request Kody. This time he demands that she return the T-shirts he contributed to a patchwork quilt Meri made for their 10th wedding anniversary. Why? Because Robyn she wants for her own bizarre collection of Kody Memorabilia. Meri is forced to painstakingly remove each T-shirt from the quilt, stitch by stitch, reliving old memories with each paper cut.
Fortunately, Meris best friend, Jenn Sullivanis there to help. Meri jokes that the process will take 37 hours, but the laughter dies down when she remembers a particularly cruel comment Kody. “You’ve been really terrible to me for twenty years, so you’ll have to wait at least that long for me to fix my relationship with you,” he once told her. Jenn is horrified and calls the statement terrible. Meri admits she should have left Kody It’s been a long time, but I persevered and hoped things would change. Spoiler alert: They didn’t.
Christine is preparing for her wedding
Over in Utah, Christine Brown smiles as she prepares for her upcoming wedding David Woolley. Her friends and family flew in to celebrate, and Christine is dizzy with excitement. “I’m getting married in two days!” she shouts. Naturally, Meri, Kody And Robyn are not invited to the celebrations.
Christine’s Bond with Janelle And Janelles The children are the focus of the preparations. Back when the children were small, Janelle entrusted Christine to help raise her while she worked long hours. As a result, Janelles see children Christine as a second mother and chose her Kody during the aftermath of the divorce.
Christine’s The daughters also hugged each other Davidalthough her youngest, Truely, remains somewhat reserved. She’s cool with it David but stays in her room most of the time, which is a bit strange.
Bridal preparation includes a trial make-up Christine beams with happiness. In the meantime, David tries to lighten the mood by pretending to trip and fall, but his slapstick humor elicits little more than polite laughter.
A family in transition
This episode highlights the dramatic changes within the Brown family. While Kody And Robyn deal with the idea of monogamy, Meri quietly breaks away from the remnants of her marriage and Christine looks forward to a better future.
