Hello friends! Have a nice Friday! How was the week? I hope it was great. Our flight started in Orlando and ended in TuS with a sick pilot and me, who crawled around, Lol. This weekend I look forward to the symphony, time with friends, a hike and a trip to Phoenix to Liv’s first dance competition of the season.
(Soup season! I just put a lot of vegetables, broth, herbs and beans in the instant pot and then pour lemon juice and avocado on it.)
I hope you also have a nice weekend ahead of you!
Disney World adventure:
As always, Disney was perfect. We arrived late on Friday evening and slept a little before we broke down to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. We spent the day with all journeys and ate at Be our Guest for lunch. This is one of our staples, but the food was particularly great during this trip.
(I also had GF buns and a French onion soup that they did without crouton)
I mentioned to the waiter that I was a girlfriend – she asked if there was allergies at the table and I said I wasn’t allergic, but I avoid it for health reasons – and she brought so many gluten -free treats !!
I have to admit that On our last Disney cruise we were not exactly enthusiastic about the foodAnd the food in the parks was much better this time. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was super easy to find gluten-free options, protein and vegetables between the usual flood of Disney popcorn and sweet delicacies. 😉
We rolled into the park at 11 a.m. and ate comfortably at noon, but were still able to visit 15 attractions and closed the park.
It was our first time on Tron and it was so much fun.
It rained a little on Sunday and thunderstorms were predicted for the whole day.
We wore ponchos (always buy them at Amazon; they cost about $ 15 in the parks), and I also brought them with me Shoe ponchos, What saved the day in the end !! We were completely dry and nobody had moist feet. 😉
The good news is that the rain has decreased, there were no thunderstorms and we could use all rides and attractions. I am a strange fear of dinosaurs – I think that is because they once existed, but they really frighten me – and the family convinced me to overcome my fear and go on the dinosaur ride.
It went really well, lol.
The avatar trips were urgently needed palate cleaning-Flight of Passage is always epic.
We looked at the show “King of the Lion” (so good) and ate lunch in the Satu’li canteen.
(Chicken, sweet potatoes, coleslaw and chimichurri sauce)
We ended the evening in Disney Springs and got up early for our flight on Monday morning!
It was a short journey, but it was a lot of fun and was the perfect way to celebrate Livs 13th birthday.
Here are a few more favorite finds of the week:
1.24 Friday favorites
Fashion + beauty + coincidence:
Tuckernuck sale! There are so many great finds in this sale, but I held a little back and ordered three dresses:
This classic dress that you can dress chic or casually
I look forward to wearing this dress With white sneakers
At the moment I love everything Veronica Beard has to offer.
Reading, looking, hearing:
When I read this book, I feel inspired.
When the soul is unhappy and screams for food.
My friend Julie mentioned the show Younger Today too, and I only discovered it last week and fell in love with it. She appeared on my Netflix account “Recommendation for her” and I had no idea that it was an older series-I thought it was completely new. I thought: “Wow, between this and Hugh Jackman really has Sutton Foster for a moment.” It’s funny, funny, romantic and I enjoyed it while walking on my walking pad.
Fitness, health, life and good food:
New toothpaste! I followed it Dr. B And Dr. Stop I was on Instagram for a while and was therefore looking forward to trying out their brand. It’s * very * cute, but I love the ingredients and it seems to be doing good work so far. If you are looking for a cleaner toothpaste, take a look at it! P tried it last night and loves it.
I ordered a box of this hydrogen water and although the taste is fantastic, shipping was terrible. The shipping took forever and half of the cans were dented, so I have mixed feelings.
Salted chocolate pudding … Omggggg
Thank you for having dropped by on the blog today! I wish you a great weekend and see you soon!
Xoxo
